PICK A PROJECT
Project ideas should help with the needs in your area or neighborhood and will ideally be completed in 2 to 3 hours. Projects should be completely self-sustaining.

Here are some ideas to get you and your class or small group started:

Will you help a single mother who needs a flat tire changed?
Will you take your children’s Sunday School class to help clean up a park or playground?
Will your group collect donations and deliver Angelfood boxes for needy families?
Will you wash a car?
Will you rock a baby or watch kids so that others can go out and serve?
Will you mow a lawn or help with landscaping for a neighbor?
Will you paint a room in a children’s group home?
Will you gather diapers for the pregnancy crisis center that needs diapers to give to needy children?
Will you take a meal to local firefighters battling the forest wildfire?
Would you pick up trash and visit with neighbors?
Will you visit the nursing homes or rehab centers and invest time in fellowship and bringing church to the residents?

The Faith in Action campaign is a partnership between Zondervan, the nation's leading Christian publisher; Outreach Inc., the nation's leading provider of church communication resources; and World Vision, one of the largest Christian humanitarian organizations.

Faith in Action is a four-week, church-wide campaign that creates an outward focus and a heart to serve in your congregation. FIA culminates in a Sunday where regular services are cancelled, and the entire congregation engages in service projects in and with the community.
