Local Missions

Individuals and small groups throughout the church are engaging the community through volunteer activities with a number of agencies and projects. Check out our local mission opportunities below and also through Our Partners.

                                               Be The Church

                                               Join FBC Ocala members as we serve our community!  Each quarter we will leave our campus to help others experience God's amazing love.  Our members are the church as they serve their neighbors by helping them with home projects, cleaning or by just spending time with folks who need some company.  Some of our small groups get together to visit people in nursing homes, assisted living homes or someone who is homebound.  Many of our members serve by helping local agencies with specific needs.  Others serve others by repairing roofs, installing wheel-chair ramps, raking leaves or by painting homes.  The church has definitely left the building!

3 for 3 Challenge

Volunteer in the community for 3 hours a week for 3 months. The challenge is running from February 1 through May 3.  Have you accepted the challenge? Are you already living the challenge? Email us at missions@fbcocala.org and register your hours! 

Handyman Team

The Handyman team meets every Monday morning starting around 8:00 am at the Annex (by the softball field).  This team of folks engage our Ocala and Marion County neighbors who need basic handyman repairs, wheelchair ramps, and other small jobs.
