Awana Club is for those children reaching age 3 by September 1 of the current school year through sixth grade. The following information should help you to understand what Club is about and the part you will play. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, which comes from the Scripture 2 Timothy 2:15. The number above is a "registration" number. Each Awana Club around the world is registered through Awana International, a non-denominational organization, whose mission is to "reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him." Awana has been around for over 50 years helping disciple boys and girls through Scripture memory and Bible foundations. Now, let's take a look at some information that will help you understand what your child is talking about when they come home from Awana Club.
